The short version: most features run inside your browser and your image never leaves your device; only when you press an AI feature marked with a cloud icon is that layer sent to the cloud for processing. We don't sell data, and we don't train models on your images.
What is stored on your device
- Your drafts: saved automatically in this browser (IndexedDB) so a crash or an accidental close can be recovered; they are not uploaded.
- A visitor ID: a randomly generated token kept in your browser (local storage and a cookie) so that TutuAgent can recognise you as the same visitor and count your daily free cloud AI credits. It contains no name, email or phone number.
- Interface preferences: language, light/dark theme and similar settings.
What leaves your device
- Local tools (compress, crop, cutout, filters, format conversion, PSD read/write and so on): not a single byte of your image is uploaded.
- Cloud AI: features that send the layer you selected for processing all carry a cloud icon on their button; image generation and similar features send only the text you write. The complete list is generated from the code — see the «AI features» overview page.
- Projects you save to the cloud after signing in: uploaded only when you choose to save them, so you can continue on another device.
- Visit statistics: which page you opened and where you came from (plus your TutuID if you're signed in), so we know which features get used. No cookies are set and no images are recorded.
- Device records when something fails: the image's dimensions, size and format, plus your device model, memory and the outcome, used to give better advice when things go wrong. File names and image content are never recorded, and you can switch this off in the error dialog at any time.
- The layer used by AI features that send an image: if you're signed in and have a TutuDrive, it is first saved to the uploads folder of your own drive and then handed to TutuAgent — it stays in your drive and you can delete it any time; without a drive, it is sent directly with the message and not stored separately.
Who receives it
Cloud AI requests are passed by TutuAgent (the shared AI service of the Tutu Suite) to the model provider currently in use, and the result comes back to your canvas. This site builds no models of its own, never trains models on your images, and does not sell any data.
How long it's kept
- Visitor AI conversations: cleared after 24 hours; conversations while signed in are kept until you delete them.
- Projects in the trash: permanently deleted after 30 days.
- Project version history: the latest 20 versions of each project are kept.
- Temporary uploads that never became a saved project: cleaned up automatically after 30 minutes.
What you can do
- Clear this site's data in your browser to delete local drafts and the visitor ID.
- Delete projects in your library: they go to the trash first and are permanently deleted after 30 days, or you can delete them immediately from the trash.
- To delete your account or export your data, email us.
