Add a border: plain, polaroid, rounded, with shadow

Drawn outside, never covers the picture. Local processing, nothing uploaded.

Drop an image in, pick a border style, then set width and colour however you like.

The border is added outside the original image and the canvas grows to fit, so nothing in your picture is ever covered — that is what separates it from a stroke, which is drawn inwards. The polaroid style leaves a wider gap at the bottom than on the other three sides; that is its classic proportion, meant for writing on. The shadow is a real Gaussian blur, not an offset block of colour. Everything is computed in your own browser and the image is never uploaded.

Never covers content

The border sits outside the original; the canvas grows and nothing gets hidden.

Polaroid bottom margin

Wider at the bottom than the sides — the classic proportion, room to write.

Optional drop shadow

A real Gaussian shadow, not a colour block nudged sideways.

FAQ

Will the border cover part of my photo?
No. It is added outside the original and the canvas grows accordingly, so nothing in the picture is hidden. If you want the inward version, that is called a stroke and it lives in the full editor.
Why is the bottom strip wider in the polaroid style?
That is the classic polaroid proportion — the wider bottom margin exists so you can write the date or a note on it. You can narrow it, or switch to a plain border with equal sides.
Do I need an account? Is it paid?
Neither. Free, no sign-up, no file limit, and no watermark.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Adding the border runs entirely in your own browser — we never receive the file.
