A handful of images, one picture — line them up instead of dragging each one.

Each image comes in as a layer, then take File > Automate > Collage Layout..., set the arrangement to Grid, type a column count, add spacing and a margin if you want, and confirm. The canvas resizes to fit exactly. One rule runs through all of this: arranged, never scaled. Cell size is the largest width and largest height among your images, and anything smaller sits centered with space around it rather than being enlarged. That is not laziness — enlarging is lossy, and forcing a 200-pixel image into a 4000-pixel cell just smears it, at which point what you see is "this tool ruined my picture". Empty space is visible and makes sense; blur does not come back. Two more things: the layout happens in place, so every image is still its own layer, still movable, still adjustable, and `Ctrl+Z` returns to before in one step; and columns, spacing, and image count have no cap — the only ceiling is the browser's limit on canvas dimensions, which the browser sets, not a number we guessed for your machine. How to use

    Bring the images in
    Each image becomes a layer. The first one imported takes the first cell, then it fills left to right, row by row.

    Open Collage Layout
    File > Automate > Collage Layout... — you need at least 2 layers.

    Pick Grid, set columns
    Choose Grid, type the column count for the shape you want, then spacing and margin.

    Confirm and export
    The canvas resizes to fit exactly; export to PNG or JPG as usual.

FAQ

My images are different sizes — will they be stretched?
No. This is arranged, never scaled: cells match the largest image, and anything smaller sits centered with space around it — neither stretched nor enlarged. If you want them the same size, run batch resize first, then come back and arrange.
How many images can it take? Is there a column limit?
Neither is capped. Image count, columns, and spacing are all unlimited. The only ceiling is the browser's limit on canvas dimensions — set by the browser, not a gate we put up.
Can I still edit it after arranging?
Yes. It rearranges in place without making a new document, so every image is still its own layer and can be moved or adjusted individually; `Ctrl+Z` returns to before in one step. Hidden layers take no part and occupy no cell.
Is it free? Are my images uploaded?
Free, no sign-up, no usage limit. Nothing is uploaded either — it all runs in your own browser.
