The oil filter has two controls: brush size 1–6 sets how coarse each stroke reads — bigger is bolder — and colour levels 8–40 sets how far colours get merged; fewer levels means blockier, more impasto. For a different look you do not need a different tool: the same group holds watercolour, fresco, underpainting, dry brush, rough pastels, smudge stick, sponge, paint daubs and palette knife, one click each. To be clear about what this is: a filter algorithm, not AI repainting — it changes how pixels are rendered by fixed rules; faces, objects and composition are never altered or replaced. - Can I adjust the brush?
- Yes. Brush size goes 1 to 6 — higher means coarser strokes — and colour levels go 8 to 40, where fewer levels merge colours more and read as thicker impasto. Playing the two sliders against each other gets you there fastest.
