Can I use the result commercially?

The artwork exports without a watermark and we claim no rights over it. The thing to check is the font: the typeface you picked has its own licence, so confirm it permits commercial use — that part isn't about us, but it's where real problems happen. Open-source families (Source Han, Noto, LXGW WenKai and similar) are safe for commercial use; system fonts such as Microsoft YaHei, SimSun or Arial need a separate licence for commercial work. The editor marks which fonts are commercial-safe, and on export it tells you if a font needs a licence check, with a one-click switch to a commercial-safe one.

Can I use my own font?

Yes. The editor can load a local font file, and it then appears in the font list. If you're not signed in, the font file is only used inside your browser and isn't uploaded; once you're signed in and your project is saved to the cloud, fonts you loaded travel with it into your own cloud space, so they're still there on another computer.

How do I put the finished text onto another image?

Two ways: export a transparent PNG and place it; or drag that image into this editor (anywhere on the page works) and put the text layer above it, adjusting position and size, then export the whole thing together.

Most online "text effect generators" hand you a PNG: wrong word, wrong colour, wrong typeface — back you go to generate again. But in real design work the headline is the layer that changes most; it might go through ten revisions before it’s signed off. This page gives you an editable type layer, plus layer styles on it that you can adjust one by one: stroke weight, shadow direction, gradient from-and-to are all separate parameters. Change the words and the effects follow; change an effect and you don’t retype anything.

When you're done you can export a PNG to drop into another design — a new canvas comes with a white “Background” layer, so hide it before exporting if you want the PNG transparent (to delete it, first double-click it in the Layers panel to turn it into a normal layer); or save a PSD for someone else to carry on — the type layer is still live text in the PSD, so they can edit it, though layer styles on the type layer are not yet written into the PSD. The AI step runs in the cloud and needs no sign-in: making the image sends only your prompt, and when the canvas already has content, the assistant takes a thumbnail of it to see what's there. Drop the background, get transparency

Hide the “Background” layer before exporting (to delete it, first double-click it to turn it into a normal layer) and the PNG keeps a real alpha channel, so it sits on other artwork without a white box. SVG works too (the text stays text, so the other side needs the same font installed; layer styles such as stroke, drop shadow and glow are not written into the SVG), and so does PSD (layer styles on type layers are not yet written into it). No watermark, no export limit.
