Yes. All seven scenes run in the cloud. The image goes into the request body as base64, to our service and on to the upstream model. That's a different path from the rest of this site: compressing, cropping, cutting out, filtering, converting — all of it finishes in your browser with nothing leaving. Which is which, we state at the entry point rather than in fine print.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Guests get a free daily allowance; after that you'll need an account (registering is free). How many you have left is on the «Is AI editing free» page — and those numbers are read live from the API, not typed into the copy. The browser-side tools aren't affected by any of this.

How is this different from «AI image generation»?

The input differs. Scene editing takes a photo you already have and changes it (enlarge, restore, swap the background…). Generation makes a new picture from a sentence with nothing to start from. The first keeps the people and places in your photo; the second has none to keep.

Can I redo it if I don't like the result?

Yes — the result is its own layer, delete it and nothing happened; the original was never touched. But every run spends an allowance, including the redo: a cloud call costs us real money and we're not going to hide that. So it's worth deciding which scene you want rather than trying all seven.

The step that puts people off «AI photo editing» is usually the prompt: you want the photo to look better, but first you have to learn how to describe that. Scene editing removes the step — seven scenes for seven common needs: click one, wait, take the result. Only «background swap» has to ask you what to swap in (say, «sunset at the beach»), because that is the one thing nobody can guess for you.

This page's feature runs in the cloud, and the image leaves your device. Almost everything else on this site finishes inside your browser with nothing going out — these seven scenes are the exception, because they call an upstream model that has to receive the image to work on it. We put that at the entry point, here in the text, and under the button — not only in a footnote. Whether the result is worth an upload is a call you should be able to make before you click.
