Mockups · put your design in a frame, phone, or billboard

A design always looks fine on its own; you only learn whether it works once it's in a real setting: is the poster still recognisable framed on a wall, does it still read on a roadside billboard once perspective skews it, does the app screen sit right inside a phone's bezel. A mockup is what answers that — and the built-in ones here are just three templates: picture frame, billboard, and phone screen.

The path is File > Automate > Generate Mockups.... The dialog offers three built-in templates: Frame (800×600), Billboard (900×600), and Phone Screen (480×900). Hit generate and your current design is mapped onto the template. The billboard is in perspective — its right edge sits farther away, so the design is warped onto four corners and looks like it is really standing by the road; the frame and phone screen face you straight on with no perspective, but the design is stretched to fill the window (frame window 520×380, phone window 340×720), so a very different aspect ratio gets distorted — set your canvas close to the window's proportions before you generate. One thing to be clear about: the mockup arrives as a new document in a new tab, and your original design is not gone — it is still in its own tab, and both can be exported. All three are drawn programmatically, so the edges stay clean, there is no watermark, the sizes are fixed, and the result is ready to export the moment it is generated. It all runs in your own browser; nothing is uploaded while you're signed out, and once you sign in your work is saved automatically to your own cloud projects.
