Is it really free? Any hidden charges?

All the image tools are free, usable through to a finished result, and exports carry no watermark. The only thing that costs money is ordering physical prints — having the finished piece shipped to you, which is buying an object rather than software. There is no watermarked free tier and no paywall that appears on the Nth use.

Do I need an account?

Not for the local tools. Signing in only saves work to the cloud. But two exceptions deserve to be stated plainly: AI photo restoration and AI colorization are sign-in only, and beyond that they need a TutuPrints key bound under Settings. When those conditions are not met they degrade — restoration falls back to in-browser local enhancement (sharpening plus auto levels), and colorization tells you to do it by hand.

Which features upload my images?

In three tiers. Sending your image are three features: AI photo restoration, AI colorization, and AI scene editing; ordering physical prints also sends the finished file to the lab. Using the network but sending no image are two: AI text-to-image (only the prompt goes out; what comes back is a new picture) and the AI command box (when local matching misses, only the sentence you typed goes out so a model can pick the command). Everything else runs in your own browser — including the AI cutout, which is an in-browser model, so not a byte of the image leaves your computer.

Is there a limit on how many files or how many times?

Locally processed tools carry no limit we imposed. Batch processing takes any number of files, collages take any number of columns, long images take any number of pieces. The real ceiling is your computer's memory and the browser's limit on canvas dimensions — set by the browser, not a guess we made about what your device can take.
